TEFbake

TEFbake is a new style baking sheet manufactured by Taconic for the Food and Catering Industry. It has been developed in response to a growing demand from the bakery developed a product which meets the particular demands of this industry

TEFbake is a specially coated non-stick fabric, which can be used again and again. Its ultra smooth surface ensures that even the stickiest products will lift completely clean away. It is suitable for lining baking trays and cake tins, swiss roll trays, Even frying pans and hot plates. It can also be used in microwave ovens.

Tefbake can easily be wiped clean to provide long and lasting service. not only saves time and money in cleaing trys and scraping frying pans, it improves the appearance of all cooked foods. No more cutting of lining Paper for Cooking or baking. The need to use fat when frying is also eliminated

Instruction for use

• Can easily be cut with a scissors to line or cover baking trays.
• It offers the perfect release surface for even the stickiest meringue mixture, or any sticky pre-bake mix, and is the long lasting alternative to silicone/greaseproof paper
• Dose not require pre greasing. Just pour you mixture on the sheet, cook in the normal way, allow to cool and lift off, without sticking.
• Supplied to fit standard baking trays. Othe sizes are available on request.

Properties of TEFbake

• Specially formulated baking sheet that has been coated with PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)
• It will withsatand Teperatures of up to 250 C
• Dishwahser safe or can be washed in warm, soapy water. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. To extend the life span of oven liners, do not use abrasive cleaners, sharp implements, or fold the ovenliner.

Taconic SRC-GLASS

Silicone coated fabrics exhibit very similar properties to PTFE coated fabrics. Excellent Release properties up to 500°F Silicone coated surfaces exhibit excellent release characteristics and will release adhesive and viscous materials which often adhere to a fluorocarbon resin.

Good Chemical Resistance Silicone coated fabrics exhibit high resistance to attack from mild alkali, non-oxidizing acids, most salts, mineral lubricating oil, air, moisture and sunlight.

Superior Abrasion Resistance and Flex Silicone coated fabrics offer a tough coated surface with high abrasion and flex resistance. Silicone coated fabrics, however, do not exhibit the low friction surfaces or self lubricating properties of PTFE coated fabrics.
